I was actually happy that he asked - "are you Korean?" because 99% of time when people ask me - it's "are you Chinese?" :lol:

one thing that kinda bothers me is that when I'm with my gf walking thru in NYC, some spanish-speaking people who pass by us angrily yelled out "WTF you doing with the f'ing chino?" because my gf is a Dominican. This happens every time we stroll in city especially at night

Wow, that's lame. They quickly assume without getting to know someone. :roll: at those lame people. At least that judge visted Korea which is why he knows what they usually look like.

Chinese is everywhere. even in Dominica Republic. so naturally - first thing they would assume is if you're a Chinese or not. An interesting study shows that a Westerner cannot tell the difference between Japanese-Chinese-Korean.

:lol: when I leave for bathroom or wherever for a moment, she told me that the guys poke in and asks her bunch of question such as - "so who's that guy? why you with the chino? wanna go out baby? dump that shit and i can give you gooood time." etc. etc.

FYI - chino is spanish word for Chinese and Coreano is spanish word for Korean.

Come to Iowa. We have lots of people because we invite them from war torn countries. We have many Chinese from very long ago, Koreans from the Korean war.

Lots of other Oriental groups from during Vietnam.

Now were are getting lots of Bosnians and Somali's.

And we do too know the difference here.

Very few would mistake Korean for Chinese.

Plus we are friendly.

That's like here. We have a huge population of people from Somalia in Ottawa and many other various cultures. Such is why Canada is considered a multicultural country.

:lol: that is funny. Sorry! so you are coreano! when i lived in LI. I often went to NYC. I am tired of guys (mostly latino) telling me to come with them to somewhere with their bodies moving aka "sleep with me". :roll: I always say "shoo shoo or go away" with my hand. :mad:

I dont mind if italian guys flirt me IF i were at the italain restaurant. :giggle: So i can get a free HUGE strawberry covered chocolate or ricoatte cheese cake. :drool:
