Ouch, I have that issue. Walking down the stairs, knee cap goes wonky and splat!

*hug pat pat* My speech therapist from longggggg time ago had that same incident at the mall. she was embarrassed.

:giggle: the only worse time than that was out on the marching field for practice thankfully and not show. Although I DID nearly get run over by the sousaphone line and I was marching backwards. Not fun!!!

Luxating patella I think is the term for animals but my former doctor called it a patella subluxation. Subluxation sounds so cooler :P

I have to return to work tomorrow. Should be grateful for the job, but ... sigh.

vet said his kneecaps do slip.

Yes not surprised. That is an issue in many little dogs. My poodle gotten fatter as I don't walk her far as her legs or one leg go out in a few blocks.

Vet says not bad enough for surgery, and I can't motivate the poodle to exercise in the backyard. The other two have good knees and like to fetch. So they are not so fat.

yep. vet did tell us that Yorkie (and small dogs) tend to have bad hind legs. I just hope we don't come to that point where it requires surgery or such thing in near future. I repeatedly told my family not to put him on sofa/bed (to not make him jump or land) but they don't listen. this time - they probably will but my brother's an asshole. he doesn't listen. :mad2:

I will return to work tomoroow. "Blue Monday" Ugghh...

Updating my emergency contact list for my o/s trip so my parents can stay in touch
