Ohhhh, awesome you can SMS with your brother! Thanks by the way. =)

Yeah, I'm sure Michigan will ban smoking sometime in near future or already have a ballot in place for 2009 vote.

hi jiro,

i just got back from the er and the doc said i have an upper respiratory infection. he prescribed amoxicillan (antibiotic) and a different migraine med (whose name i can't remember at the moment) that i'm supposed to take once every 6 hours and will make me sleepy. the doc also said it's clear i have a migraine based on the fact that i've been nauseous, vomiting (i threw up twice -- sorry to be so graphic) and have extreme sound sensitivity.

i normally don't get sick (once a year, if that), but i guess everything is finally catching up with me.

the hospital i went to is pretty good about seeing patients right away. given my symptoms, i guess they thought it was best that they don't keep me there longer than necessary.

i'm off to bed now. will post again more later if i feel well enough.

hopefully the amoxicillan will kick this uri in the bud big time. :laugh2:

sweet dream! :cool2:

I guess Hear Again lives a block from the hospital. It's impossible if it's far away.

Takes me an hour just to get there, then another two hours to wait in the chairs before they call my name.

If I went out to catch a bus to the hospital, it would take at least an hour each way. And emergency rooms here, if you don't have a broken bone sticking through the skin, you will wait hours.

Our local hospitals are starting to have little clinics in lots of neighborhoods and even Nurse Practioner in the grocery store for small emergencys with no waiting.

Well I'm yawning every like 10 seconds, so I think I better just go to bed.

Later everybody!

I live a mere 5 minutes from the ER, but I've had to wait in the ER for as long as 3 hours to see a doctor and get released.

Hear Again, I hope you get well soon. During my sinusitis moments -- I had LTRI as well. Was on antibotics for three weeks.

Sorry, I was out to spend with my family for two days on Thanksgiving. (I brought two deaf elderly ladies since they don't have a family. How sad?! It was their 3rd time. They enjoyed with us, which I am glad to hear.) It was soooo good to see my sister, her family and her friends. My niece announced everyone that she's pregnant. (She's 5 weeks pregnant. Her adopted daughter said she's so happy to have either brother or sister. She's two years old and 7 months. She knows all ABC's, numbers, and she knows some basic ASL which she learned from the Sesame Street. She can talk into full sentences. She's so smart... )
The best news I heard from my niece. (She's a rabbi. She said to us a special prayer during Thanksgiving dinner. 20 people with us... It was a very nice prayer... The foods and desserts were sooooo good... )

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving as much as I did. :D

Its 3:44 here. And still nothing from AE.com

I should call customer service, too bad Im horrible at phone conversations.

I miss my brother, he left today at 4am back to Texas for his Army. :(

I understand how you feel. I wish your brother well in the Army. My nephew left for Navy last month. He's in the training since then and he will be graduating next month. His parents will be flying out to Chicago to attend their son's graduation.
