:lol: you're funny! Paying bills aren't fun! BLAH!!! Oh well!

My son is so happy to have a brand new sneakers that has lights up! He'll need one more pair later.

LT, I remember the time when my mum bought the similar kind of shoes that lights up when you stomp across the hall, it was awesome -- we bought it in Los Angeles, near Santa Monica. It was no longer in use, a year later.
 
thats called. "LA Gear" something that lights up on the sneakers. i love to wear that all the time at elementary.
 
The porch roof that was attached to the playhouse collapsed during the night. It was so GUSTY wind. i hope cats werent under there. I would be sad if one crushed. i will check it out later today. It is pouring like cats n dogs right now. Unbelivable!

Dixie's work doesnt have power as she texted me earlier this morning. Anyway lot of areas doesnt have electricity from what I heard on TV. Lot of schools are closed today, too. Lot of areas have flood warnings. More rains are coming and it wont let up till Friday. sigh!

I have to get ready as I have a dr appt in a hour so yall have a great day! :)
 
Yea...it is still making in USA. My son loved it and he requested a new one...I said I don't know if they'll make it in your size but I'll do my best...when I shopped at Wal Mart (they open 24 hours) early this morning, and found a pair that has light up in his size! He was THRILLED and wearing it to school today! So we'll go to Target later to get few things and check more shoes that he need one more pair just in case if one pair is wet or dirty and wear another pair. :)

Thanks for the radar pic - lol. Anyway we stood outside under the awning for FOUR hours and at 9:30 they let us go. I was soaked from head to toe after standing out there smoking, talking, and texting to FC. I went through a whole pack of cigarettes. :eek:

As soon as I got out, I went and picked up my DD from daycare as I did not know if the water was going to rise as there was water across the road this morning on my way to work (Love that truck!). I called mom and gave her a heads up then while she was talking to me on the mobile she ran over the subway sign! LOL. It had blown out of the frame and it was laying in the road, and there was no way for mom to avoid it. No damage was done to her SUV though. But when I drove by to pick my DD from school, it was bent and off in the ditch, LOL.

But damn this weather calls for hot coffee, pajamas and a good book!
 
Yesterday, I worked from 12 to 8PM and ended up with a fever. Got home at 830 and went straight to bed. Today, still not feeling good but went to work. Right now, I am gonna take a short nap and then walk the dog. Hope it will help me feel better. I got a bad head/chest cold. :(

Thanks...It is like a roller coaster...mornings, I feel fine but by 2PM, I start feeling really sick like feverish and all that. Just 2 more days of work until the weekend. I am doing NOTHING this weekend so I can rest. :)
