Hey guys and gals, I wanted to see any of u have been to the highest point, where (state or country) and what was the elevation eg: 6,900 ft.
When me and my family and my best friend joined in went up to the mountains in the rockies states, we reached 10,200 ft. elevation by driving on a small 2 lane road from I-70. There was a small town called Leadville, Colorado. It was very tiny. it is the highest elevated town/city in the United states so far I know.
The other time, when I went with my parents and my cousin, we went up to the mountains in Northeast Utah, we reached at very high 10,800' elevation, they have a road going to 11,000 ft, but we didn't go far because my dad was having breathing problems cuz the air was too thin for him, I wanted to go more higher.
The highest elevation on foot was about 9,500 ft elevation from the base at 6,600' where we parked our car and walked 5 miles to the final spot to camp out for few days up in the rocky Sierra mountain range in California west of Lake Tahoe basin. It was a fun hike with lots to see!![Smile :) :)](/community/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/smile.png)
