Has anyone seen the movie? Alex and I saw it earlier today, not great but very spooky & jumpy movie! this picture already scarred in my head probably for a few days.

uh.. no thanks I can't handle horror movies, I get too scared and might cover my eyes as usual.:)

damn, this thing fucking scared me. :tears: setted it as full screen with its head fit, it looked so real!
 
My aunt will probably watch this. She was like so for this movie when she showed me the tv announce it. I was like, no way. Ewwww.. Scary sh-t that won't let me sleep for a week. LOL No thanks!
 
it was scary all right but not as scary as "the ring"...*shudders* I never been that scared of a movie like that before in a long time...lol

Oh yeah the ring was soo.... speechless to say it..... We were watching that movie one day, We both couldn't take our eye off the movie, not even to get a drink. but we had a drink with us anyhow... Boy this movie was DAMN GOOD.....

My husband and I also watched Ghost Ship! whew....



Anyway E,

The grudge, I must have missed it... darn I will try to see if I can watch it someday soon. that eye doesn't scare me :-D

Yes I saw Ghost Ship.. damn that is scary.. at the end of the movie I was like nooooooooooo he still alive! and "The Ring" I couldn't sleep in a couple days after seeing that movie.
 
You should have seen the Japanese version... Ju-On. It's a lot better. The same goes for The Ring. That American version didn't do well... but the Japanese version, Ringu, was scarier and better.
 
Ju-On, the original version is slated for a nationwide DVD release on November 9.

I concur with you about the Japanese version. I do think that version is better than the American version. Ironically, they had an Australian actress do the main character (Naomi Watts).

As for 'The Grudge' -- haven't seen it yet, but since I love getting scared, so I'll make a beeline for the videoshop and pick it up. :lol:
 
Just saw "The Grudge" with my husband this evening. That movie scared the bejesus out of us. :shock:

In my opinion, it is one or two notches scarier than "The Ring", I believe!

I haven't seen the original Japanese verison, but I know it is a lot scarier than the remake. I don't know if I'm brave enough to watch it, lol.

Yup. Ringu is much better and scarier than America's. I watched few months ago (yes, subbed by fansub group)

Try Uzumaki (Spiral) too, same author, Suzuki Koji who wrote Ringu. Uzumaki is very good but not that good as Ringu however it is recommended to watch :)

I haven't watch America' Grudge yet and I don't think I have to since Ju-on obviously is much better than Grudge (based on many people who watched both Ju-On and Grudge).

There are mangas on Uzumaki and Ringu as well, I believe it is somewhat better than movies.

Sorry. Those pics are pretty creepy, all right. I'm just not too brave enough to watch "Ju-on" moives. ;)
 
I just saw Ju-on last weekend. It was pretty good!! I haven't seen Grudge yet, so I don't know the comparison.

anyway we've looked for ju-on at hollywood but they didnt have it. where did you guys find ju-on from? i hope blockbuster has it.

oh and did ringu 2 come out yet? was it good?
 
Actually, I rented it from my local Hollywood Video. Look in the new releases section. Ask the manager where is "Ju-on". ;)

I saw Ringu 1, 2, and 0 a couple years ago. Those were the best. The Ring was made mostly from Ringu and a little bit from Ringu 2. Ringu 0 was a prequel made after Ringu 2. If you ever get a chance to watch them all, I strongly recommend that you watch 1, then 2, then 0 in that order. That's what makes the movie's storyline look good. I found them online... ;)
