I have tried to talk sense into my step son's mother about the education Dan was getting and suggesting a few deaf facilities that offered extra attention in improving english and so forth...but Leanne has long since refused to listen to our suggestions. *sigh*

I don't see how this is getting out of hands. Everything seem to be fine and constructive, giving out positive ideas on powerful issues about our deaf society. I would suggest just to leave it the way it is and steer back to the topic if you want to. This thread is extremely helpful and encouraging.
