Found this picture...thought it was awesome-looking. Apparently there was a tornado in NYC

Jiro mentioned something about that, but wasn't sure what came of it. Glad he wasn't smoking something.

My brother tells me there was rain like crazy in Missouri. He said one day last week they had 12 inches in 24 hours.
 
I saw coverage of that on my local news today. It was wild with people running and they were absolutely terrified.
 
It is ridiculous when people blaming Obama for weird disasters.
 
I wouldn't call it a "tornado".... more like a sudden gush of wind

1:10, the wind is spinning... maybe mix tornado/hurricane? torhurricane? :lol:

no idea. I wasn't there. I rode away from it. fast.

but if you're referring to what I saw from my condo view - it was moving in one direction. just north-east direction.

Ah, I see. Possibility a microburst spreading out and winds slowing down few miles away.
