Thanksgiving Day (Nov 27th)

I don't know what is my plan yet. My mom in the law want us to come her house. My husband said don't know yet. It depend on my step dad. :( I will figure it out next few weeks.

Meyag, That's nice of you are volunteer for homeless people. You're great heart to help homeless people! :)

Hmmm we got Jazz game on Wednesday, skiing on Thursday (hopefully I can rehab my leg better faster) and Friday another Jazz game.....I cannot complain bout this years Thanksgiving schedule :)

I'll probably have thanksgiving with my roommate and her kids, more likely at the mega church not far from here.

Ahh Thanksgiving here in Canada was over for me (Oct 13)... it was a good gobble dinner for me with my brothers and their families.. also same dinner for birthday dinner for my 3rd niece (sweet 16 b-day) so.. wouldnt mind worming my way over to a place in the USA and wolf down on turkey and meatballs and etc.. but one day maybe.. haha..

So do enjoy your Thanksgiving dinners and be thankful for whatever ya have in your life to look forward to!!!

My family and I decided that we will go to my grandmother's for Thanksgiving. :)

I don't know w hat my family and I will do on Thanksgiving. And it will be alexanderia's first thanksgiving. :D

I have not decided what I am going to do on the 27th. My mother wants me go to out of state to my grandmother's and eat with the family. This would be my first time being with the rest of the family since 1991. I would love to see my grandmother, but I don't feel like seeing rest of the family this time.

Hi, Animor and welcome to AD. Your volunteer work is commendable but I'd be curious to find out why you don't celebrate Thanksgiving if it isn't too much to ask.

Hi, thanks!
Well I don't celebrate Thanksgiving because it is not part of my culture. I'm from Peru and been living in the States for a little over a year. I know some of my relatives living here do celebrate it because well... they have been living here for more than 15 years. I guess I would start celebrating Thanksgiving if I stay longer than 3 or 4 years. I just see Thanksgiving as a little vacation from school. I know what it means here and that's why I will volunteer.

I haven't decided what I am doing yet. Most likely with family.

I unfortunately have to work, however I don't mind too much cause I get double pay. :)

Hubby and I will be driving to OH to be with his family.

I'll be doing a lot of tooting for sure!
