I suppose I'm the only one here that feels bad for Buck/RS, I would understand if some of you hate me for what I've said here, but I can't help the way I feel...Sorry :(

Thank You...I'd still hate to see threads get shut down but I think it is something that should be acknowledged...and discussed. I'm not referring to him specifically but as we all know, the internet can be a dangerous place and those dangers should be discussed given the amount of minors and parents we have here ad AD.

The laws do vary from state to state. In most cases, it is the local authorities that handle the investigation...and if across state lines, it can vary. For instance, if a guy from PA drives down to MD to meet a minor, it would be the MD agency that handles it.

In this particular case, it was all within the state of MD. My agency was involved as well as detectives from Baltimore and Howard counties. He chose to meet her at a hotel room in downtown Baltimore and promised her to pay for the room and also give her a tour of Camden Yards.

Angel, I dont think anyone would hate you, but I am curious to know why you feel that way. I guess I'm sort of confused...

That is fine you feel this way, that is a normal woman's response to feel bad for someone and that you would not wish for somebody to be banned but you need to keep in mind the situation that was happening or happened with Buckdodgers who kept going after underage young teen girls when plenty of guys including me here on AllDeaf.com told Buckdodgers that was illegal and not very good at all and he said he still wanted to go after young teen girls and it seems he may have sexually harrassed a 14 years old Deaf teenage girl
so much that she does not feel comfortable coming to post here anymore and it also seems that he made quite a few ladies here on AllDeaf.com very un-comfortable and not feel very safe. That is the main concern here. It is okay you feel bad somebody got banned but keep in mind, the reason why. Keep the feelings and the reason why seperate that way you will not confuse yourself even more further and whenever possible look at the situation and not your feelings. The situation is real and your feelings may get you mis-guided. You have the right to feel this way but the situation here is the real key.
 
Thank you for doing the right thing. It really came down to protecting our members and your website from future harm. I am pleased with your decision. This will be a lesson for all of us to remember. :hug:

Please don't take this the wrong way, I know he did was wrong and does needs professional help but I do know that some of you did not like him since day one for the way he complained or ranted about things, at the begining one or two members would jump on him and created dramas which more members got into it...Lately I feel that he may have been tricked and led into a situation or two which got him in trouble...Did all of this happened because of some things said in the past? that's how I see it, he may have said " I like teen porn " legally there is teen porn that produces 18-19 okay? now during that time he said that, some members started to see this teen porn as underaged young girls and from that point on things got worse...Must I say more?

The thing is that now some members will be feeling safer and glad that he is removed from AD but I wonder if all of this would never have happened if members would have not jumped all over him in the beginning and things could have been handled better and more maturely....We all make mistakes, yet to entrap one person into making a mistake and doing it in an open forum doesn't seem fair or is a way to handle it...also not seeing solid proof in which some of the same members kept going at it while others stayed out of it...I can't help it if I have a soft heart and to see how this all may have happened, it makes me sick to my stomach seeing and watching how all this came to be...for so long...it seems like this will never go away whether he is banned or not...

well not happy... but i feel much safer yes. and im proud of alex too.
 
Thanks to Alex for solving our issues...

I was surprised after some members gave an approve about what happen with buck and just scare of him to start threaten with teens but now, its safe. :)
