Two Park Rangers were just stabbed in Boston recently , this has to be getting very scary for anyone that wear an uniform of the law.

It depends. We have various levels and kinds of rangers and game wardens. There are Federal agencies and state agencies. In my state (SC), the state rangers and game wardens are commissioned law enforcement officers--police.
