voilence is happening somewhere else, more underground, and more insidious, like corporations making people in 'developed countries starving, if not starving then starving for freedom, people have became cogs for corporations' machines...
Like say.......Peter Gabriel?

Now you're redefining "violence."
When I'm talking about violence, I mean wars, assaults, murders, etc. Clear-cut cases of violence.
It is not corporations that cause starvation in other countries, it is the government of these countries that impose onerous regulations and bureaucratic red tape that their own people are unable to use their ingenuity to solve their problems, or to seek solutions elsewhere.
It is the level of corruption whereby government officials loot their own countries of its wealth.
Whatever happened to old-fashioned cops & robbers and cowboys & indians?
I always played imaginary shoot'em out games with my friends when I was in elementary school.
This "zero tolerance" thing is getting out of hand!
This is the best comeback of those jokes I've seen on Europeans vs Americans.
And, to make matters worse, it is those same immigrants who kept Socialists in political powerhouse, so that they can keep wasting our tax-paying welfare while not willing to "integrate".
Back then, I was fed up with US politics and its insolvent ability to fix issues, and then when I came here, I soon discovered that it is not that different, lol... oh well. I suppose that is the nature of multi-faceted society.
