Terror Watch Issued for Border

Simple and straightforward. Now, does everybody understand?

Unless you have all the proper (and legal) documentation in hand. You're free to move about just as you would visiting other countries, like North America, er, Europe and their countries.

Sure, I do have a US Passport which it is obviously required by new law for any American traveling from Mexico or Canada by drive their vehicles but....is it okay for the US soldiers with .50 Cal to aim at my gf and her innocently family who has been to US many times with no trouble or..... have them to aim at me, a US Citizen by birth and raised, just because of my deaf accent with the Irish name that might be a member of IRA, a labeled terrorist organization by our best ally, the British government.

I'm sure that Texas won't let the border to be sealed, it'd collapse on our or their economics.

 Come on, can you not read the sarcasm from Texan's post? I'll stop posting so he can clarify for you if he feels like it.

Jeebus, some people's detectors needs-a-cleaning. A GOOD one at that.

and...... there! it's best to listen to a Texas native living near Texas-Mexico border who has a personal experience with the grim reality of border issue rather than from armchair Texas cowboy who watches "Walker, Texas Ranger" show a lil' too much.

now does everybody understand?

National security is at stake. Having a porous border is not helping this country's security and well being.

Seeing how aiming would be an act of engagement I doubt you have to worry about that unless you are causing trouble .....especially if you are crossing at a legal checkpoint. Again I don't think anyone here is against people legally crossing the border at a legal checkpoint.

Did anybody notice the name TXgolfer? You're right. Listen to him.

Is there a post that I missed? What does the terror watch issued by Homeland Security have to do with tinfoil hats and 50-cal guns aimed at girlfriends? :dunno:

He's expressing opinion that there is an excessive paranoia of complications that aren't necessary. Kinda like the Gay blood situation. Seemed pretty rhetorical to me.

Unfounded???? Really???

un·found·ed   /ʌnˈfaʊndɪd/ Show Spelled[uhn-foun-did] Show IPA
–adjective
1.without foundation; not based on fact, realistic considerations, or the like: unfounded suspicions.

Guess Obama's people disagree since they issued the warning

heh :D

:P I am sure there is medication for tin foil hat wearing people who can't read ;)

I'm pretty sure the tinfoil hats statement from jillio was expressed towards koko's opinions of what he wants the USA to do. Not the original article.

I mean, just look at it:

kokonut
: Can we seal the border now? Triple layered fencing that penetrates 20 feet deep. More National Guards, say, 30,000, and more ICE agents, etc. etc...

20 feet, triple layered fencing, more patrols?

s

This is what is already there, and with the problem of Obama "spending too much money" (Koko's word's) he wants even more money spent now?

hmmmm ... wondering if the opinion of a Real Arizona Ranger would matter to you?

It'd be cheaper than the alternative like leaving it porous and causing more havoc on our economy already. Secondly, you need to go back and read what I said about spending money. This should have been done 20 or 30 years ago as part of the ongoing allocated budget plan on ensuring border control every year. Rather than wait and basically do nothing because some politicians are worried about his/her own votes and don't make a move on this important national security issue. It is after all a national security issue and that takes precedence first, and then we can concentrate our other internal affairs knowing that our border is secure and people are following the law.
