that didn't answer my question. and no you have made exactly no point at all. like I said..... 41 years is a long time.... and it has been thru dozens of Presidents and different senators... still good. still running.

Not really, I made excellent point, but there is problem, you don't understand and I'm not going waste my time to explain to you again.

I heard that prisoners get paid if they work like making license plates. I believe that it's true.

Constitutionally, they can't be forced to work if they don't get paid. Their punishment is prison time. If they want pay, then they must work. Some of them support their families financially, some buy cigarettes, candy, etc for themselves. Make sense?

That's not true - see 13th Amendment.

The 13th Amendment to the Constitution declared that "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction." Formally abolishing slavery in the United States, the 13th Amendment was passed by the Congress on January 31, 1865, and ratified by the states on December 6, 1865.

The constitution allows prisoners to have forced labor with no pay, as punishment for convicted of crime.

You already proved my point. You have NO idea whats inside my [censored} comment! There are too many things that you have no clue whats going in today's society, and act as if you know the correct answer.

Do you really think government is going to admit something hideous? I don't think so! Not all facts are out there, majority of them are HIDDEN from society including you, me and the rest of members here on AD. That is the fact that is not easily proven but it is hidden facts.

That [censored], I had to follow Alex's policy! That is why I can't say this to you, yes, it is meant for you not the rest of ADers.

in case you misunderstood something...

that was referring to mob bosses... not some sexual favors from prisoners. and you still haven't told me specifically what "more rights" did the prisoners get and what rights did victims lose.

Wanna know why no more labor camp? It is crook's mama that complains until they stopping doing labor camp. These spoiler mama is WHO stopped the hard labor and boot camp.

Here is real proof, in prison, there is ZERO mandatory on training convicts into productivity so that they can be productivity in our society when they get out of the inside. Now, majority of them do inside is just sitting and do nothing, when they go outside into society, what do you think they are going to do? The answer is obviously… sit at home until money runs out… oh fawk Lets commit another crime so can go back inside. That is HOW it is happening now.

With labor camp, prisoners will be forced to work, and when they get out of prison, the chances are they will keep going work because they can't stand sit and do nothing. After a period of time in hard labor, they will less likely going to try another crime.

Of course, it is not going to work every time, BUT it will decrease the chances of having crooks re-commit crimes after hard labor.

I just wish these mama quit spoiling their kids and shut the fawk up about penal system in the first place.

1865? Oh, please...

This is 2014 so tell me why there's no more forced labor.

For example, we did a firing squad a long time ago. Today we don't. Why not?

The boy should be serving longer. He's already chosen his path in life and demonstrated a complete disregard for life - 23 years is way too easy. Killing animals are always a clear picture of what they're willing to do to humans victims...

Times change.

You made inaccurate information about our constitution so I corrected your statement about constitution.

Fact, our constitution allows forced labor for prisoners who convicted of crime and it already existed in my state before they got replaced with voluntarily labor in 20th Century to get reward like shorter sentence.

Oklahoma still have firing squad as secondary method.

It is way too long, and nothing is done about it. Sitting in prison cell for 23 years is NOT going to make any difference. Point is regardless of how long it is, it is NOT going to make any difference, and there is clear proof out there. The longer one stays in prison, they turn themselves into institutionalized and how can it help one quit commit more crimes?

The idea of prison with lengthy time in prison was to force them think what they done, and hopefully they turn themselves around. The theory started about hundred years ago where they thought the longer prison time would cure the problem. Now we know for sure it is NOT working,

So, it is clear to me that longer time spend doing nothing but think is not going to work.

Lastly, what scares me is that prisons are actually a college for criminals to enhance their criminal skills and put them in use when they get out of prison. labor camp and boot camp don't allow that to happen and I see it as real advantage and REAL discipline.

It's not all because of their mama. Human rights groups oppose it. You can't force a human being to work.

There is fact that we can't deny… we have the highest population in prison in America than anywhere in the world. What does it say about American's prison?

And the country with second highest was not even close to America inmates to society ratio!

And care explain why you think it is working EVEN though we have the highest inmate population in the world?

Where is the fact?

Oh yes! Mama is the one that called human rights so that they can get help! Sickening!

If lethal injection is unconstitutional or not available so firing squad will become standard execution in Oklahoma.
Well, I prefer a firing squad because 10 bullets are cheaper than a ridiculously expensive lethal injection. But no more firing squads which are the past.

Your dead wrong again, firing squad still exists even today.

Oklahoma and Utah still allows that under their law books.

The last time was not long ago in Utah.
