Some capitol buildings look like minarets (well, the round part). I am not sure how I feel about this banning part.
because they are just buildings. Some can be art, and other can be a religious symbols
BUT if you ask me, some buildings just don't look right in certain areas. Like a palm tree house in the middle of smoky mountains. or Asian theme next to a catholic church. or even a very bright pink, funky house in the mountains. I don't mind a pink house near the beach because that the color you will sometime find in the nature at the beach. But you hardly find bright pink (unless you have a garden or have mountain Laurel) in the mountains unless it is springtime. Their nature is mostly brown, green, maybe some yellow and periwinkle blue (the colors of the weeds), etc.
Some people do have springtime color houses where I live though, and it look good, but not in the deep in the mountains where flowers can hardly grow. Log cabins look alot better.
Anyway, some designs really need to stay in their original places because it look better there.
