"the P is silent, like in swimming pool".

meaning you can't hear pee in a swimming pool. some people think it is about silent letters when writing and try to figure it out. in reality it is just a pee (urine) joke. the fact it is so simple some people can't figure it out makes it humorous.
 
I love the water I don't own a pool but I sometimes go to college or HS pool. I swim real good but can't dive. I don't know why but I have a fear of diving.
I don't remember when I learn to swim. :)
 
I don't swim, don't know how to. I enjoy the pool but people stare at my body and it gets uncomfortable. I am fit, but on the hairy side. I trim and i looks very clean, but people just stare since hairy chest in Los Angeles is a no no... lol
 
I love to swim when I can which isnt very much. My family used to take us to a caravan holiday park every year and there was always a swimming pool. I learnt aged five/six years old.

i wish I had joined the swimming club at school

I like to dive into pool but not sooooo high like the olympic dive greg louganis (not sure to spell his name).

I also like to go underwater about 10 ft down. And of course with scuba if deep water like in Hawaii.

But I'm terrifed of sharks in the ocean, ahhh!. I watched discovery channel "Blood in the water", It happened in 1916 at Matawan in New Jersey. Interesting story. Sharks are anywhere in the oceans.
I do like beaches but I won't swim that very far or I would just stand in the water.

I'd rather swimming pool cuz there's no sharks around.

I'd also like to swim with dolphins ;)
