Do you swim or not? Some people can't swim or don't know how to swim.

How old were you swim?
I started swim when I was 5 yrs old.
I enjoy swimming pool for a summer day.

I love going to the pool for entertainment and for exercising. I learned how to swim when I was either 18 months or 2 years old. My mom wanted me to learn so she could take me swimming during the hot Phx summers.

I was on a swim team for several years. It was a lot of fun.

I love water. I do have a pool in my backyard. I highly request the pool to swimming at everywhere I live or go to.

I started to swimming at 2 years old. :D

I do know how to swim I just don't remember how old I was when I first learned how to swim. :dunno:

I don't have a swimming pool but we do go to wild water parks. That's the kind of fun I love. ;)

Baby! :) All my life with Backyard's pool, Aunt's Beach and lakes!

I really enjoy swimming! :) I don't have a pool though, but I used to have a blow up one when I was little and I loved it. The last time I swam was when I was camping in early July.

I love swimming, it's one of my fav thing to do. I was actually on Swim Meet when I was in 1st and 2nd grade... as well in 10th grade. I learned how to swim then I was just a baby, like 18 months old or so...

My son is 3 and I haven't taught him how to swim yet, I know that's bad... and I need to start on that soon enough. However he loves being in the pool. He wears life jacket in the pool and floats around, tries to swim as well.... but I'm in the pool with him whenever he's in the pool.

I probably started swimming around five years old. We went to the local pool club. Never really developed the finesse of swim strokes.

I don't remember when I learned to swim. I think it was when I was 3 or 4 years old. :dunno:

Don't feel bad. You aren't the only one. My son is almost 4 and still doesnt know how to swim. I tried to teach him but he prefers to "swim" around the steps. If I had a pool in my backyard, I probably would have be more commited to it. My daughter didn't learn how to swim until she was 5.

I have been swimming since I was very young that I can't remember, but I have been training swimming from 1st grade to 4th grade and was in a team in high school for boy's swimming during my freshmen year, I love swimming and am good swimmer :)

when i was little girl i cant remind what my ages when i start swim in kiddie pool but its totally fun for me to swim in kiddie pool.

im hope i will swim in public pool im wishes

I learned how to swim when my Mom took me and my brother to Vero Beach, for a vacation for a week. She taught us how to swim when we were Four.

I absolutely love swimming, and being in the water!!

I love the water, ocean, lakes, ponds, creeks, rivers, love to canoe, wade in, but cannot swim. Hate having no HA in and no glasses/contacts, can't see and can't hear, very uncomfortable for me. Nearly drowned during swimming lessons as a kid. My son however swims like a fish, like his Dad. My Mom, Dad, sister (deceased) and brother are not swimmers either. I have dreams of being in the ocean and frolicking with giant octopus and such, but in my dreams I don't need to breathe oxygen, so no fear of drowning.

I love to swim. don't know how old I was when I learned how to swim. We grew up swimming in our pool almost every day.

I don't like pools much, the chlorine bothers me, I love swimming in lake and ocean though! Ever since I was little I love it. I could go and start swimming in the morning and keep going until night!!

If I have children I plan to enroll ourselves in one of those "babies and mommies" swimming programs so that my children will learn to swim. This way should they fall into a pool or pond or some other dangerous water situations and if I do not hear their cries for help they will be able to save themselves. Of course, I will be always watching them closely at all times, but there is ALWAYS that one moment where you blink and your child drowns and dies, and that scares me. So, if teaching your kids how to swim before they are even one year old will later save their lives when they are 3 or 4 or even later, then I am all for it, especially since I am deaf. My foster mom enrolled both of her own children in such a program and they learned to swim before they were one years old. I thought that was awesome. It's also a great way to bond with your children, too, anyway.

I began to swim in the pool when I was finally out of my last body cast, but I learned to actually swim on my own with no buoyant devices such as life jackets or floaties when I was about maybe 6, when I went away to the state school for the deaf. They had an indoor swimming pool there, but later it broke (I'm not sure what broke). I'm not sure if it's true but they replaced the pool with a much less deeper one recently, and the students there weren't happy...I guess for us the deeper the better, haha.
