Where is the swastika symbol on the paper?

I honestly have a hard time trying to find it, and in the article some say it's not a swastika so can someone outline a swastika on that paper in the article as I don't even see the patterning.

It's right in front of you when you open the link , it that top . I really can't see how you are missing it.

From what I understand, that's a typical Greek pattern, and it's called a meander because that's what it does. My BIL is Greek and I've seen it often. It just happens to look like a swastika because it's a rather common shape prior to Hitler.

The Walgreen in my city isn't even aware of this and they did not even carry any Hanukkah wrapping paper .

Because it's not that obvious. Just because you can see it doesn't mean everyone can see it. I personally think the lady and others are over reacting to a design that HAPPENS to have some shapes in it the look like Swastikas. It would be interesting to find out if the person who designed the paper was Jewish or not. :hmm:

The person most likely Chinese . You got to be kidding! I suppose you also think the holocaust never happen too !

No, I don't think the Holocaust never happen. I'm saying that the design on the paper is just that, a design. It just happens to have some bends in the line that make parts of it look offensive to overly sensitive people. I bet you can find designs like that in old concrete buildings. Are you going to demand they tear down the buildings because it looks like something that it really isn't?

So you would be OK with this on wrapping paper?

Amazing that they pulled it because ONE person complained. I'd understand if more than 50 people complained. To me it looks more like a maze design than anything else. People will see what they want to see in just about anything.

I don't think it was done on purpose to include the swastika- seems to me that they were just designing as is and it just HAPPENED to look like it to some people.

And no I don't think the Holocaust didn't happen.

As for thinking Kai Onca must be Chinese (I assume that's who you were referring to- that's a bit presumptuous. I didn't see it until it was pointed out to me. Not everyone sees things the same way.

That picture you showed was way beyond the point of what we are talking about here. We know what Hitler did and don't need those pictures when we are talking about wrapping paper.

Lets desist this discussion now!

When someone say people are being too sensitive about this , I really doubt they know what Hitler did ! And the photo I posted is why Jewish people are upset about this my photo has a lot to the story.

on the contrary... when someone is sensitive about a certain issue - they make an issue out of anything that looks like an issue.

If it was an accident then why get bent out of shape? Remove it and be done. It's a common design element found all over the world. Seems like it could have easily gotton there by mistake.

Calm down

Not easy to spot when I didn't spend my life staring at a swastika with a hatred like you for the bad it stands for. With picture circled by other member now I see what I was supposed to see, I wasn't the only one that couldn't see it at first. My mind is not trained to hate the symbol like you are it's not oblivious to a lot people, as it missed a lot people before hitting the shelves sitting there for a while before ONE person notice it and rised the alarm atfer she brought the paper.

It's easy miss by thousands of people if not millions of people, manufacturing, designers, printers, store employees, endless customers all did not notice it.

And I did not spend my life staring at swastika either . And what kind of remark is suppose to be? " I didn't spend my life staring at a swastika with a hatred like you for the bad it stands for. " Do you have anything idea what Hitler did to 6 millions Jewish people and other races ?? You better damn believe it, I along with millions of other people have hate what happen in Holocaust . I knew a guy that was a Holocaust survivor , he committed suicide b/c he could no live with what he been through . I saw what Hitler
did to him , he had a long row of numbers tattoo on his arm as a young boy.
