1. Advanced Bionics 90k with Harmony on Fidelity 120 S.

2. Yes, I have no idea how many times since activation. I was activated in 2006.

3. Yes, I had some mild dizzines that felt like drunken spells about 1 to 2 months after surgery. They passsed shortly and never returned.

Like others have told you, whatever device you pick you will need to work at it. Even if it were a total cure, you'd need to work at it. You are learning to hear after all.

I have the nucleus 5. I talk on the phone now every day. Of course I do miss words here and there but not that often. No more then most hearing people. Most of the people I talk to now that don't know me never know I've been deaf since I was about 20 (41 now).

One thing that gives me the best results is to use my personal audio cable for phone calls. I can hear them very clearly this way.
