I get it lol, yea some people just want to look like they're helping. It's like having a sign in a window "we hire deaf people" and then rejecting everyone because they can't hear lol :)

no, its not a 'deaf thing' (but it can be) while its not the point,
it is a universal sarcasim visually aimed at politicians and high earners making businesses. The upper class wants to look like they want to help but it is Not their real intention, its just an act. This picture depicts the reaching out is an illusion, notice the ladder? it is here could easily lower it down, but no they have left it up. The reaching down and 'saying we can't reach you- we can't help you is a big lie. The person at the bottom cant see the ladder, so seeing the arms reaching down from the top compells them to believe the man on the top. You just need a particular way of and looking and thinking to really understand this.
 
Here where I live the picture would be the governor and the legislature reaching down with wads of cash sticking out of their back pockets and in the part of the picture you do not see is all the contractors and large corporate interests with big contracts sticking out of their back pockets, and a small group of oil company owners high fiving each other and laughing their asses off
 
no its not an optical illusion, thats an entirely different thing. whats opitcally illusive about it? its really has meanings, there is no two-way to look at one image, it is ONE image hence not opitcal 'trick' or illusion.
 
Hmmm maybe "optical illusion" isn't correct, but I don't know what else to call it: first it looks like the guy is reaching OUT and then it looks like he's reaching IN. Makes me crazy!

the guy reaching in has a ladder next to him. He's not even thinking of using it to help this person in the box shaped hole. That's the whole conundrum.

If you keep looking at the picture, the image changes : first he looks like he's reaching into a hole, but then the optical illusion makes it look like he's reaching down the side of the pyramid. Does anyone else see this? It goes from being a hole to being the top of a pyramid.

I see what you saw now. I had to go back and look :lol: then I understood your thoughts - it makes no understandable point at first when the skinny guy in a loincloth is reaching down but maybe that is real point. The poor man wants to help the helpless rich man who has the means but cannot make himself use it to attain the higher consciousness that the poor man has

If someone says give up all your wealth to be poor but high upon the spiritual platform would you actually do it or make a show of it?
Even if the poor man was trying to help you?

I had to go looking for a while to find that a four sided pyramid with the top cut off is called a frustum
 
wrong again , look see the 'top' of the pyramid is darker, as in darkened by depth... i tried looking again to see the 'twist' but the top of 'pyramid is just too odd the shape doesnt register as a truncated top portion because it is out of shape to begin with.

I just read a book called The Law of Attraction, and it said that you have to visualize what you want and believe you'll get it, and then you'll "attract" what you want. I want a big bag of money! So I have to "become" the bag of money so I can attract it. Hope it works!!

My vision issues only let me see the one perspective. Ah well.
