Rumor has it that Wachowskis brothers, who bought us the Matrix trilogy, (The Matrix revloutions sucked balls, seriously.) V for Vedetta, and Speed Racer, are planning to do a Superman reboot trilogy.

Your thoughts? As for me...I really dont know. If they could get it right somehow, I guess it's not that bad of an idea...

A reboot might be necessary, if they can pick someone that looks good.

The recent Superman Returns made Superman look not-so-muscular. In fact, he looked like an innocent high school kid.

It was an interesting concept where Lex Luthor used a Krypton crystal and a kryptonite to create an anti-Superman island, but it was the rest of the story that seemed a bit too depressing and dramatic.

I also had issues with the casting. I liked Kevin Spacey okay as Lex Luthor, but the chick they found to play Louis Lane was all WRONG! :roll:
 
Yeah to cast Kate Bosworth was insulting more than anything. Nothing will top the Christopher Reeve triology, imo.
 
The orginal Superman movie starring Christopher Reeve was an instant cult classic.

However, I find the sequels disappointing...VERY disappointing.

Yeah... even the comic books show her as an aggressive female who is always putting her own life at risk to get what she wants.

In Superman Returns, she just seemed like an innocent girl who is scared of everything. :Ohno:

Lol, I'll watch Superman III just for the camp factor. Clearly, someone was smoking something when they filmed that one. :P
