Summer Olympics 2008

I really love it how today watching USA kick the living crap out of China, the umpire mysteriously expands the strike zone against US by about 4 inches on both sides of plate, either cuz he felt bad for them, or just wanted to eat his dinner sooner??? who knows
 
USA 3 men from Track Field 400 Hurdles got all medals. It's amazing isn't.

Texan, I am not strong swimmer, just an average and I wouldn't want to be in the olympics anyway. I'm just a bloody geek, eh?
 
I am strong swimmer but nothing in league of Phelps or the "Thorpedo" (that 4 u Jake)
 
Yeah, I saw Ian Thorpe in stands suring swim events and he was surrounded by women asking to get pictures of them with him. Lucky guy!

:laugh2: I was in swimmer team when I was in high school. I left because I had an eyes and sinus infection. I didn't want to be in olympics either. This is not my career for sports. But I love to watch an Olympics on tv that all. I don't mind if my kid want to be in olympics for dream. :)

Didn't you know, Ian cried when Michael won the medals? :lol:
 
Lolo Jones is from Iowa and I believe the top woman hurdler in the world.

She was confidently expected to take gold.

I just read she knocked over the next to last hurdle and got seventh. :(
 
One girl I saw on the TV -- fell over after the first hurdle :lol:


But no TV for me this week, I packed up my TV last night and took it to my parents.

Yes, I saw it. I was disappointed for her. I hope she will be back to Olympics for another 4 years later. I know the hurdles is difficult. It happened to my teammate at school. It just happened to everyone else.
 
i read about medal on list i watch on tv as coverages says USA been add lots medal than china but i dont think China would pigs for medals! im tell ya!

USA medals total= 99
gold 30,Silver 35,Bronze 34

China medals total = 83
gold 46,silver 15, bronze 22

Russia medals total = 53
gold 16,silver 16, bronze 21

London,England known as Britian medal total = 40
gold 17, silver 12,bronze 11

Australia medals total = 39
gold 11,silver 14,bronze 14
