Subway's New "Flatizzas"

One is right around the corner from me too...gotta' love that!

That Subway I was referring to is actually on Lunt Ave, just to the north of me. I live at least 3 blocks from there, depending on how you get there from where I live (there are multiple ways to get there), but the fastest way is via Ravenswood and Lunt, because it takes the shortest time.

I don't care for Subway either. Two of my kids love it. We have a sandwich shop called Beach House. OMG they are so good. They still put tons of meat and toppings.

I am such a wimp when it comes to anything spicy.

I LOVE their BLT subs, but I try not to eat it too much because of the bacon.

I'm not a big eater at all. Hubby gets a large sandwich and cuts about 2-3 inches off for me. That fills me up no problem.

I don't get them too often-- every few months or so. I believe the last time I did get a sub was back in December, just prior to boarding the Amtrak for Southern IL. Hmm, might be time to get another one soon.

When I worked at Massage Envy I went all the time. There was one right next door in the plaza we were located in. I'd get a footlong and eat half, save the other half for the next day. Not that I ate it every day, but often yes!! I liked the subway club melts with chipotle nom nom

I gotta wonder, is it possible for the fastest route to take the longest time? In other words can you say, "I can get there by taking this fast route because it takes the longest time" :laugh2:

The only possible way for it to take longer is if I'm forced to walk down Wolcott and then turn onto Lunt-- that itself would be quite a walk. However, if I walked on Clark, I would have to go through two stoplights, while on Ravenswood I don't have to go through any.

I was trying to make a point about how redundant it is by saying, "it's the fastest because it takes the shortest time" well duh..... That by definition is fast otherwise you'd be calling it the slowest route if it took the longest time.

When I am working with a tool partner up high on a structure of some sort and they say, " I am going to go down and get this this and this". I usually respond saying, "take the slow way down, okay?".

The word "slow" isn't for me. I'm constantly on the go, and the only way to slow me down? No. Think I'll keep that one to myself and let you guess. Have fun figuring it out.

Goodonya was saying "take the slow way down" meaning to walk/climb down, basically go with intention, as opposed to falling (fast way) down, presumably to one's death on the pavement below.

(I love that line:) )

Oh, okay. Still though-- not many things will stop me in my feet cold, but there IS one thing that will, but I'll let you have the pleasure of figuring out what that is.
