students booted for wearing USA shirts

One of my old high school friends said on FB that her kids got a warning for wearing their American flag shirts yesterday in AZ.
 
Some people really hate America. Why don't they just move some other country instead of violating our rights to freedom of expression?

Very sad, indeed. This quote bothered me:

Take it to federal judge, I would like to hear, however I believe that everyone has right to wear whatever they want, even American t-shirt.
 
Well, I don't know know but it was Mexican Army who saved the Union from the French Army were there to aid the Confedrate Army during the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
 
This could be a good thing...It will force our school-aged children to learn more world history, as they will have to learn the important historic dates of all other nations. That they can avoid offending the sensibilities of any other national by wearing the colors of the United States on any day that is historically significant to another nation.

Actually, why don't we just abolish any displays of American national pride all together on any date? Isn't that the truly "culturally-sensitive" thing to do? Y'know, systematically destroy our American culture to make sure that it doesn't hurt the feelings of any of these thin-skinned whining nancies?

Can't wear red white and blue inside the United States on May 5th? Gimme a break. The Principal and Vice P need their heads examined and should be formally reprimanded for discrimination, and better still, put on extended leave and not allowed to return until they have both published dissertations on the 1st amendment and it's importance to freedom in America.
 
I see this as nothing more than a trivial issue to get people upset.

Save your energy folks. There are more pressing matters at hand.

One thing I don't get: How come Americans get all pissy when they can't be patriotic and this behavior doesn't seem to exist in other countries?

Oh yup, I was facepalm with situation about immigrants, even minutemen too and just very embarrassed for both of them.

I'm just back off when come with situation about immigrants and AZ immigrant bill is not right answer but I'm personally believe that federal should make smart move to resolve the immigrant issues, whatever isn't interfere with liberties.

I'm not interested to join anti-immigrant protest because I don't want liable, or being hurt, or face court time due assault so better to leave them, in my opinion.

This is not an "anti-immigration" movement, its an "anti-illegal" movement. If the illegals want to turn this into a racist issue, that is "their" agenda. Just another reason they should be deported.

Is it a "civil right" for illegals to protest American immigration laws?

I don't understand why someone would fly the flag of a foreign country in America. I am not saying there is anything wrong with it. It's like putting a picture of your ex-girlfriend on the mantle next to your wife's picture. It may be legal, but it's pretty stupid.

Pro-immigrant protest isn't always support illegal immigrants, they are protesting against government that increase of strict security to control on immigrants, especially ask them for documentation on random street if they don't commit crime to make check as secondary. Many immigrants want US government to have common sense and passes the immigrant measure that doesn't take their liberties away by have force them to be check repeatly.

Minutemen and immigrant protest are battle over issue with immigration is just immature and waste of time. I had seen so numerous time in 4 years ago when lived in CA and wanted both of them to shut up; and work together like cooperation.

AZ immigrant bill is anti-immigrant because it is enable to ask immigrants for status, including LEGAL and ILLEGAL and racial profiling is very common and basic methods that they can figure out. I don't support any immigrant bills that harm to liberties that affect legal immigrants. We got common solution to combat illegal immigrants are secure the border and ICE agents.

The law in Arizona applies to everybody so it is not discrimination. The same laws that apply to me apply to you. Why should "favoritism" be given to illegals?

That is discrimination.
