well... just something to heed - never ask a question if you don't have an answer to your own question![]()

I would probably vote for Obama in 2012......Seriously
Well, whatever; something powerful needs to happen cuz this country is defaulting worse than a stuck pig.
I agree 100%..... And it's going to get much worse. Most of this healthcare plan (if forced through) doesn't even take affect until 2013. I want the President that signs this crap to still be there so we can hold him accountable.
Republicans winning the midterms would put them in blames way when all this crashes. It's best for the GOP to stand back and let things run their course to prove once and for all spending your way out will not work. That way the US won't have to go through this again. It's going to be a hard painful lesson.....but we are due for one. .
I hear ya but I'd much rather these idiots on both sides of the aisle to something to blunt this vs having an Aha, told ya so! moment down the road because our foreign borrowing alone is adding 2 trillion a year to our deficit and China has stopped buying. What's gonna happen when we have to paper over that two trillion? We cannot find any creditors anymore to finance our obligations. The danged Fed Reserve is papering over this gap....to the tune of something like 5-6 billion a year. I understand (vaguely recall) that the Reserve and Treasury make up about 65% of the world's banking reserves......so what's gonna happen when the world's banking reserve currency defaults? Has never happened but if it does, what then?
Plus we have so many other problems on other fronts......we don't need to let this behmoth (health care) be in the way right now. The less pressing matters in the way, the better, no?
I know...Maybe we will get lucky and China will consider us too big to fail
