Weather changes all the time. So does our climate. This has been going on for a few billion years.
That is true, however you're forgetting how self-centric humans are. Well, most living things are self-centric, but so far, we're the only being that will actually try to directly modify our global environment to prolong our own survival.
Got nothing to do with "it has been happening for eons," because as a species, we are merely a flash in geological time, yet most of us have a hive-mentality that we are here to stay, rather than accepting that one day our future generations just won't exist someday down the line. People do prefer to keep things static as much as possible hence the fear of global warming-- people just can't fathom the possibility of living in a world different from what we see now.
Go figures.
Not reading anyone's mind. Just pointing out that being an armchair scientist doesn't help to qualm people's fears because it doesn't address what they are really afraid of.
Did you know that both Al Gore and IPCC won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize?
How convenient!
Recent data still suggests warming:
Scientists Affirm Warming Trend - WSJ.com
And note that it used independent data, not from IPCC.
"undeniable."
Yes but did it ever say that ice's gonna vanish? Show me data that said such a thing.
Nah.. it says "suggests" not for a fact. Big difference.
IPCC is also the alarmist on global warming, too. And bending to the political will elsewhere and meet their policy objectives on environmental control over people. The IPCC have no credibility. Never did after the alteration of "Chapter 8." It's quite simple. Previously in IPCC's "Chapter 8" it stated conclusively that “No study to date has positively attributed all or part [of the climate change observed to date] to anthropogenic causes.” But later it was revised in the final version of their report several sections of that chapter were deleted or modified in order to remove any hints of scientific doubts regarding the claim anthropgenic impact on global warming.
Letter to IPCC Scientists
Are you admit that you are always right and know everything about global warming?
Global warming has been always questionable and debate for years.
There is no proof that man has caused global warming. NONE! Secondly, CO2 only make up .039 percent of the atmosphere while the rest of the atmospheric gases make up the total 99.94 percent. Rather miniscule when compared to the amount of water molecules in the atmosphere.
It is matter of opinion, man.
It's a fact not an opinion. There is no proof that man has caused global warming or that manmade CO2 played a major role in contributing to global warming. Else you'd be claiming that correlation equals causation.
There is no proof. Read again.
