Alot of them carry anti-gay signs too........Hate speech?????

Yup, it is, IMO.

I have no tolerant on homophobia and anti-gay rights.

I believe if people don't like gay people in their personal so that's ok but I just want their hands to be off from government and treat gay people as same respect as everyone does.

The solution is really quite simple. There's already restrictions on free-speech on what you can say to other people. Police can charge you with public disturbance if you swear in presence of kids-- as long the comment wasn't targeted toward the government to begin with.

The problem is...

Would making political comments at a funeral fall under free speech, or public disturbance? So I agree with Jiro, it will be a tough issue to resolve.

But funerals are not a political gathering.

I am all for the freedom of speech but Westboro Baptist Church really crossed the line.

My return to New Mexico is delayed until Monday. Westbore Baptist is coming to town Sunday to protest my church. I will have camera in hand and voice warmed up to "greet" them.

(the spelling was intentional)
