Tell me about it! As a blind person, I rely on other people to watch where they're going and not run into me. And text addicts are awful at doing this. I've had people bump into me while texting. Although they feel really bad once they see I'm blind! Which I get a good laugh out of.

I'm alsoo guilty of this and I'm kind of a textaholic!

I can text without looking at the screen or the phone keys. I constantly text and cannot survive without my phone for longer than 3 hours!

i wonder how i ever survived as a teen back in the 80s without cell phones or texting. :giggle:

i can't count the number of students at my university who have run into me while texting. i wish i could laugh it off like nika, but i can't. i hate it when people bump into me because they aren't looking where they're going. <mad>
 
I agree it's annoying for them to bump into me, but I think it's hilarious because initially they get mad at me for not paying attention, and then they realize they're the one that should be paying attention. So it's kind of like the joke's on them.

i don't like being touched on any part of my body which probably explains why i react the way i do. i immediately tense up and then intense anger takes over before i can even think about laughing it off.

I completely understand, Hear Again. The same happens for me if someone bumps into me from behind. But from the front I can usually laugh at their reaction "<gasp!> I'm...I'm so sorry...!!!" Ahaha, moron.

now that i think of it, my reaction may partially have to do with my bipolar. if i'm rapid cycling, i don't respond well to things like that *at all*.

by the way, i couldn't help but laugh at your comment about someone saying, "i'm...i'm so sorry."
 
It's the reaction that cracks me up. How overly apologetic people are about blindness. It's so stupid, and I'm thinking, "Hey, I'm not sorry for myself, so why are you?"

that's exactly what i tell people as well. 95% of the time they're speechless and have no idea what to say. <laugh>

*shurg* kids think text-msg is new, e-mail for old people. Nuff said in South Korea.

Poor choice because they cannot sent the video/image but rather limited. Maybe future, more demand on MMS than SMS.

I spend over 2GB per month on data usage thry internet/e-mail/IM
