Hi I was wondering if any one of you collegian types were planning on going on a trip for Spring break? I just returned from California! I went with a group of friends from the University of Utah and had a great time. We visited Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, Fresno and San Francisco. I really liked San Francisco very much and would love to return to SF soon for a longer visit!

SF is cool place for any tourists to visit. Have you touched Ghirardelli Square? If you have, try to eat at Frjtz Fries restaurant? It is CHAMP!! My friend and I ate there today. Food is so heaven!! If you visit SF again, I recommend that restaurant!!

No, most of the people in the group were Asians, so they preferred to eat Asian food. LOL... so we ate at this great Thai restaurant called Bangkok Noodles which was fabulous. We also ate dim sum lunch at a restaurant in Chinatown.

We were in SF for just two days so I didn't get to see a lot. We saw some places like Castro Street, Lombardi Street (Crookiest Street in World), Fishermen's Wharf, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, the Art Institute landmark (I forgot its exact name), El Presido Park, etc... SF was awesome! I think SF beats San Diego! LOL...

it DOES beat SD!!!!!!!! :thumb: sounds like u had a great time despite the short visit -- next time u will get the chance to go again im sure :D

Ah. Nobody could love San Diego like the native San Diegans.

Glad you enjoyed SF. ^__^ (Whispering: a run-down one bedroom condo costs 2,000 monthly ... in south of SF, not in the city... IMAGINE the price skyrocketing as you get closer to SF.... )

I am surprised it was sunny in that picture!

Ah, what am I doing on my spring break? so far, in San Diego. Cannot afford to travel right now with the gas prices skyrocketing (2.15 is the lowest price here for unleaded gas: 87) since I have spent my playmoney for a flight to NYC two weeks later...

BUt I have enjoyed my spring break so far... :naughty:
The weather in SD is great... I am going to the beach today. :applause:

Yes imagine my surprise when we filled the SUV up with gas in California! It is no fun having to pay between 30 to 40$ to refill the car LOL Would need a real good job to live in California LOL.

It was 80s in San Francisco, and very sunny. It was great.

Weather in SF is still warm and unusual!! I hope that weather is continuing to stay warm!! Fingers crossed!!

Is Ghirardelli Square near Fisherman's Wharf?
