I've went and finally seen the sequel to the 2002 summer smash hit, Spider-Man 2 and here's my review of this flick so far.

Two years later after Obsorn, as the Green Goblin's death, everything around mild manner Peter Parker, who is secretly the Spider-Man sure was tight and always in tough situations at his job and his friends and family...it just gets harder and harder for him to keep the secret of his idenity as our crime fighter of New York...

Dr. Octopus, one of the best villains before Venom, is the most challenging and smartest, but still insane, man with four machinery arms that gives him special sensors, and special powers with just 8 arms on him (don't forget the legs, folks lol)

Spider-man hasn't faced a tougher villain since Green Goblin in the last movie and he has more problems on his own...and has very personal interal conflict with his decisions... Should Peter Parker continue fighting as Spider-Man or go back as the regular dork as Peter Parker? That's his own problem to deal with...but in the end, he knew what must be done and get it done before it's too late.

Mary Jane is engaged, but is she still in love with Peter? Maybe, more likely, but possible.

Harry Obsborn, the son of the "Green Goblin" still seeks revenge against Spider-man who assumed that he killed his father...and is still jealous that Mary Jane likes Peter better than Harry.

In Spider-man 2, there is more action, more conflicts, and more secrets to burst out...This is truly the best Spider-Man adventure I've ever seen in a long time since I was a huge fan of him in my childhood times, and I still am. :) He is just the best.

I recommend this for other spider-man fans to check this out, and for the ppl who don't really know our loveable and kind hero, please watch the orginal and you will get the full story.

Spider-Man 2 is just friggin' great. :thumb:

We will watch it tomorrow morning.
I know all the story.
I collect all comics books from my age 7 to 18. They are at my parent's storage room. Might be very old and high $$

happy anniversairy, Christo

Saw the midnight showing at the drive-in theatre, and they should had kept the original title they were planning to use...

The Amazing Spider-Man!

Only if they wouldn't had been slapped with that lawsuit!

You are right, Banjo...

because the movie was so friggin' amazing! :D

**spoiler alert!**

For the people who seen sequel, do you know the professor with the missing arm?

yeah...something gives me a hint that he would turn into something mean and lean...something green and tough...something like "The Lizard".

So maybe in Spider-Man 3, Spidey would face another villain...The Lizard or The Return of The Green Goblin? (Harry would take his father's place as the green goblin though)

Also, I didn't quite catch the name of Mary Jane's fiance in Spider-man 2...

But I was told that his name is Eddie Brock...

Eddie Brock?? (the man who will later become Spidey's deadiest foe he ever faced in lifetime...Venom)

But the problem is...I dont remember reading any comics where Mary Jane was about to marry Eddie Brock or that Eddie Brock has feelings for her or something?

Naw, I think I was told wrong and I dont think it's the same Eddie Brock who will be later in the comics known as Venom...

am I right guys? it's not Eddie Brock that Mary Jane was about to marry to?

Actually, I read that the professor is to play the role of The Lizard, possibly in the third Spider-Man. But they haven't announced the villian yet, but I have a strong feeling that there'll be two villians. More reports are saying the same. Especially after what we saw at the end of the movie with Harry.

The astronaut, John Jameson is the person Mary Jane was engaged to in the movie. I was quite surprised to find out about the name of the man Mary Jane was engaged to.

Why?

Because, John Jameson, the astronaut is in fact, a Man-Wolf in the comics. It could also be safe to assume that he'll be in a future sequel, maybe Spider-Man 3. The details hasn't been unveiled yet on the sequel. But John Jameson is not a villian, he is an innocent person.

I hope to see a storyline with James Jameson get intergated into the next sequel somehow.

We are the fan of Spiderman.

We can´t wait to watch Spiderman2. I think DVD will spread out to Europe from United States next or 2 years time.

We bought DVD Spiderman last December.

spoiled you blabbing 'bout spiderman2... Better not tell peepz who have not watched the movie.. ((chuckles))
I'd rather wait until release DVD movies.. :)

Wrong, Mary Janes’s old fiancé was John Jameson(Man-Wolf)
You know all Spiderman’s series, Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker: Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-Man, Spiderman(Todd McFarlane) and other more books are sort of different stories.

If Eddie purposed to M.J., that’s fine because it is for movie and not for comic books. That’s Stan Lee decided.

His name is Dr. Curt Connors.

I don’t think Green Goblin returns in Spidey 3, maybe fews later. Perhaps, one of Lizard, Hobgoblin, Vulture, Sandman or VEMON in Spiderman 3. PLEASE pick Vemon.

I doubt Venom will be in the third Spider-Man film, I think they want to save the best for the last. I've been reading a lot of reports on the Spider-Man movies.

I think it's possible that Green Goblin II (Harry) may be one of the villains in Spider-Man 3 because of what happened at the end of the movie. I said earlier that I bet there will be at least 2 villains instead of just one in Spider-Man 3.

well, let's old sayin' "wait and see" :D

Yeah just what Banjo said, I wouldn't be suprised if Spidey would have to face two villains in the third movie

However, I do REALLY REALLY REALLY want Venom to appear in Spidey 3 but did Eddie Brock appear in the first two? No, so he has to make an appearance first and then become Venom possibly in the 5th or 6th sequel (if they will ever get to make more than just three spider-man movies, that is) Venom is the newer villain who made his debut in Spider-Man # 300 in 1988 so he's not really old anyway.

I have a strong feeling that Harry would be the next Green Goblin and it is just VERY slightly possible that Dr. Connors would show himself transforming into "The Lizard" but still, I hear Spider-Man 3 won't be released until 2007.

Dr. Octopus was a great villain though...he is a terrific actor and I admire his insantiy and stunts against Spider-man...he puts up quite an challenge upon him. :D
I think he's alot better than Green Goblin though.
