I agree with you.. sheesh.. some ppl needs to get a life. I see nothing wrong with breast feeding. If baby's hungry then just feed it. Some people and some women r prue!!!

I agree with you that it's pathetic.

I believe that breast feeding should be something that is respected. There's someting sacred about nursing your own child, and I believe that it should be done in a respectful and tasteful manner. I don't believe a woman should just open up her blouse in public, for instance. There's something exhibitionistic about that.

However, as for the magazine cover flap, give me a break! This is a parenting magazine, for Heaven sake! You'd expect to see articles on breast-feeding and a picture to go along with it. Therefore, these complainers need to get a grip! That woman that complained about her 13 yr old seeing it... PLEASE!! At 13, a girl is old enough to understand what nursing is all about. These women who are trying to sexualize this need to get the stick out of their butts, and deal with what is considered normal in our society.

I just ondt understand what people think the alternative should be, do they think women should rush to the nearest bathroom to feed their child?

Would you eat in a bathroom, no me either.

Do they think that the mother and child should eternally stay at home?

yep...seems that some mothers who see that cover are proably jealous cause their boobs arent as big as that mother on the cover..she sure got guts to show what a REAL mother can do...by giving the baby milk.

I still dont understand why ppl are more pissed off on nudity more than violence...it's like they dont even care if someone got hurt for no reason and I think it's pretty stupid if you ask me.

I would still care less about nudity cause it's just nature, but violence? is it really part of nature?

Most nursing moms use a little blanket to cover their baby while its feeding in the public. That way, the narrow minded wont complain and the baby gets fed anywhere--not need to stay home. :)

I meant that when women breastfeed in public - I normally just look away, no problem. Men have breasts, yet it's okay for them to be topless anywhere in front of kids? ;) Hee hee

It would be nice if private places were provided for women to use.

That is what my wife did with our two kids years ago. Nobody had a problem with that...
