Some people don't believe

I had a similar experience this morning with one of the supervisors at work. I just gotten written up. My supervisor, JD (the shop steward), the on-road (driver) supervisor, and I were having the wonderful conference about my actions and what we need to do to correct it. I was concentrating on JD, reading his lips while on-road was trying to say something (I guess), she started waving her hands in my face and is like, "What, now you're just going to ignore me!? Answer me when I speak to you". My supervisor simply says, "The best way to make sure he understands you is if you make sure he is able to see your lips, he lipreads... hence the reason he was staring at JD"... the ignorant #@$%# just says, "Thats no excuse not to listen". I was like, wow...

Wow... is all I can say. What part of deaf does that ignorant @$$ understand?
 
Yeah, there are alot of people that are stupid in this world and alot that don't even think. I guess we just have to ignore em and move on with our lives eh? I got a redneck accent-every deals with it lol
