Oh hell yea!!!.......I dont think i can afford a PS3? Wonder how much they will be?

BTW nice Avatar Steel. Look awesome.

we still don't really know what PS3 would look like yet...but I've heard that Sony will share the details with us at this year's E3 this May.

and as for Mircosoft, would be showing their next new console at E3 this May, also.

I don't know if Nintendo tends to show their "revloution" console at the show this year.

Oh, I dont see it....you got ahead of me.

MODS: I dont mind if this thread merges with Steel's.

We have come to a better understanding about Solid Snake in the next MGS adventure on the Playstation 3...

okay, we know that Snake in MGS and MGS2 is a "clone" of the orginal Solid Snake aka Big Boss (from prequel of MGS3), right? well, as we see here in this new game, as it takes several years after MGS2, we noticed that Snake looks completely different now...he looks older, have gray hair, a mustache and even some kind of mechical eyepatch on his left eye.

now, I said before, he is a "clone" of the orginal Solid Snake...doesn't mean he's completely identical to the real one. The genetic enigeering causes Snake to age faster than anyone else in the games. as Snake isn't just getting older, he's actually very sick and tired as well, even though he's still stubborn and tough to fight some more in the battlefield against the russians...lol. remember the scene we seen in the trailer when he was coughing like crazy, then he immediately inject some kind of needle into his neck so his illness won't get worse. He's cloned, he's old, and he's possibly dying, too. in real life, clones wouldn't live as long as real people do, for that matter.

and as for the "eyepatch" on his left eye...he didn't really lose his left eye. He just uses it as some kind of special device that allows him to check out a radarlike map and scan objects and enemies just much like Samus can do those kind of things in GameCube's Metroid Prime.

So, now I understand it's still the same guy from MGS and MGS2, yet I know he's a clone of the orginal Snake aka Big Boss, but he's not really human, and he's aging faster, getting sicker, weaker, and all, but he's still up onto his feet as an legendary soilder to fight for our freedom and justice. that's our solid snake! :D

Steel,

Actually, as referenced in Metal Gear Solid 3, Solid Snake is the perfect copy of Big Boss. The other clones, Liquid and Solidus Snakes are all flawed clones of Big Boss.

In MGS4, Kojima has stated that when Solid Snake was born, his DNA was changed so he could have acclerated aging. This is why he looks so old in MGS4.
