next of kin and other people who witness it going have lifetime of awful vivid memories,they will suffer twice once when person murdered and now this....no execution is fail safe.

well, botched or not, have they ever asked a dead if it hurt or not? Beheading, your brain lives for 3 minutes... do you get a headache? I can show you a live beheading video (done by knife, not a gullitine) and the eyes are still looking around..I shit you not.
