So I gave up wearing Nike Air Max sneakers

I hate sneakers with passion. I prefer flip flops. If I had to wear sneakers of some kind, I'd wear flats or Converse.

LOL what kind of sneakers do you workout with?

I am the opposite with you. I love sneakers since I was a baby. I even wore my sneakers at work, with cute or nice clothes. LOL shoes or flip flops are not comfortable for me. I found a very comfortable flip flops only if they were crocs. they are champion.

Yeah, high-tops can be bothersome after suffering sprained ankles.

My steel-toed boots were uncomfortable for a while after I sprained my ankles. That's why I wore regular shoes for a while until my ankle felt better. :)

I get whatever I an afford. Not doing much and living bare-foot in the houser, I think I am in shoes may 3-5 times a week. Not supposed to wear flip-flops or heels. I own a whopping 4 pairs of shoes, 1 sneakers (need new ones now), 1 flat dress shoe (haven't worn them for 2 years) 1 pair of flip flop sandals (never totally listen to doctor :giggle:) and my slippers (hate 'em!).

Eh, I still have a pair of New Balance sneakers from seven years ago that I only use to work out with, but otherwise... It's flip flops all the way, even in the snow.

I wear steel toe boots for college, work and motorcycle and I wear New Balance for work out, tour, and party.

I used to wear Rebook, Adidas and Nike sneakers until my specialist told me to wear NB sneakers. Wow! What a huge difference! I have three pairs of NB sneakers which gives me a lot of comfort and most importantly, durability.

I should try NB sneakers one day.

I wear new balance sneakers. They're so light and comfortable. In the winter months, I wear boots.

Same here! They have nice a wide front for your toes! I was told new balance sneakers have the most room for your toes.

I am told that NB makes the widest shoes on the market for people who have extremely wide feet.

Also for those of you who are seriously into NB there is a site called 'Joe's New Balance'. It's a place where a lot of discontinued models of NB shoes are sold at ridiculously low prices. My mom was able to score two pair of NB shoes for about $50 total. Not bad at all.

When I was running track and cross country, I preferred Adidas. I absolutely do not like Reebok, they make my feet hurt.

For some reason the Wal-Mart brand shoes make my heels hurt worse than any other brand of shoe. I have one pair of Wal-Mart brand sneakers and I wore them to work one day and by lunch break my heels and feet were hurting so bad I couldn't stand to be on my feet for very long.

None of my other shoes do this to my feet.

I actually like some of Payless shoes. The last pair of casual shoes I bought came from Payless.

Yeah I am wearing the wide new balance sneakers. :) It's more than a year old right now but haven't used it in the winter months due to snow, ice and frigid cold. It would be a hassle to put on shoe chains everytime I go in and outside of my work place. I haven't found a shoe that can work good on ice built in without damaging the carpet when going indoors.

Whatever WalMart or Payless carry. ;)

Walmart around here as well as Payless do not have decent enough quality shoes for our family. they also don't have them large enough anymore. My daughter and I have to resort to wearing men's sneakers due to large feet. Son is still okay and hubby's have to be special ordered anymore. My last pair of shoes from Payless fell apart after 10 wearings.

There's nothing wrong with wearing men's shoes if they fit. Just go with brown or athletic ones so it comes off as a unisex type of shoe that can be worn by either sex.

I think Walmart shoes go up to size 11 or 12 in men's and up to a size 10 or 11 in women's.

I remember seeing a size 14 shoe once on display in the mall at Ft. Smith. That thing was HUGE. It was nearly as long as my arm. That's a freaking huge foot! They were actually selling them as they had the display shoe and there was a sign that read: If you need larger size shoes, please ask a sales person. We have up to size 14 in stock.

Well - Son is in a men's 10W, hubby in a men's 14W, daughter in a ladies 13W or men's 10W, me in a ladies 12 W or men's 9 1/2 W.

In the bolded, my brother wore a 13W and called his flip-flops waterskis. Now, there was this guy at our church, who also babysat us a couple of times, who wore a 17 AAAA shoe. Long skinny feet. He later worked part time doing Ronald McDonald in costume. He's also 7'2" tall.

I wear the black DC shoe and 2 pairs black Harley-Davidson boots.

myself as sneakershead.

i wear my skateboard shoes (from Vans to DC to Etnies to Nike 6.0) for my casual

i wear my basketball kicks to play ballin' (Jordan, Nike and Adidas)

If i want to workout, i wear running shoes (nike shox or nike trainer or nike free)

if im playing softball, i am only wear Mizuno Spike Blast turf

if i want to running, i wear asics gel.

if i want to walk on beach, i wear sanuk sandal.

enough to say this but basically, i have over 25 pairs.

I like Vivobarefoot shoes. Only milimeters between feet and ground, and they look cool. The downside is they quickly get wet if ground is wet. Prefer flip flops whenever possible, like havaianas, reef and kustom. Now you know why my nick is flip. ;)
