Dragonflies do too, but comparing their size, bats are able to capture much bigger prey.. and more. also, bats are nocturnal so they capture different kind of prey than d-flies.
So, let's agree- they are both needed in their own rights.

I agree. They're both needed for different purposes. I know that the dragonflies love mosquitoes, and they'll eat 'em all day. Now bats can eat something a little larger, so I'm not complaining if they're eating a large pest insect, so that's good to have, but the rabies part worries me, as anyone who contracts that would not likely survive.
