A personal favorite of mine- the Ryugyong hotel in Pyongyang, North Korea- a symbol of human failure. Construction began in 1987 and was halted in 1992 due to shoddy construction. All Kim Jong-Il wanted was to feel like the tallest man in the whole wide world.

P.S. I know, Kim Il-Sung was still in control at that time, but please just humor me.

That is actually some ugly building I have ever seen and sorry, I don't like it all either, same goes to MetroGuy03! ;)

Well the only reason why this is ugly because it's uncompleted. Somehow I like the shape and wonder what exactly it will look like when it's finished?

What happened to the building right now? A ghost building?

What skyscraper do you wish it would get built in your city but never did?

I wish there is one in my hometown of Canberra, but the government has resricted limits to the building code, but that is about to change anytime soon :D

Does your town have any proposed skyscraper that supposed to be built but never happened?

Yep, a crowded city!

Haha! I love crowded cities! :) Seattle is somewhat crowded city too but Seattle only have 586,000 people with nearby 4 million people in metro area. Seattle is pretty dense because of complex geography.
