Is there any more further ghost skyscrapers like one we mentioned in North Korea?

Yes, there is also lot of buildings that was uncompleted and was on-hold just like that building in North Korea.

Diagrams - SkyscraperPage.com

Uncheck all of those proposed, vision, under construction, built, etc except for "on-hold", then there you go. Some of those building haven't rise any floors, some of them do and never complete the project.

Dude, it is the 21st century! That hotel honestly, needs a renovation into the 21st century. Indeed, a ugly skyscraper. Where is that located, Pacman?

North Korea...

what topic? this thread is supposed to talk about skyscrapers around the world in general.

We are on topic, JJ!

I was off-topic for a bit about Africa's economy to construct skyscrapers. I didn't want to get off topic that discuss about Africa's economy. That's why I said let's get back to topic.

That is wonderful news for me :) I mean those people in USS are getting tired of communting and are looking forward to some place that are closer and only need walk-distance.

Same here! I hope this trend will last for really long time like decades from now. We will see about that.

Actually We do have a several US cities with many empty skyscrapers... Buffalo, New York; Detroit, Michigan; St. Louis, Missouri; Los Angeles, California; Spokane, Washington.

Buffalo, New York has many abandoned skyscrapers. Right now Buffalo is rebounding but it will take a while to return to normal level again.

Detriot, Michigan which is known as automobile city that manufacture automobiles for decades. Many companies left or went bankrupted. That is why Detroit got many abandoned skyscrapers. Recently, Detroit just started to rebound and filling up the abandoned skyscrapers slowly. Detriot should return to normal level within two or three decades from now.

St. Louis, Missouri struggled with its economy system that caused many companies to leave town or bankrupted. St. Louis is losing its population to the suburbs or different cities. Right now the City of St. Louis is trying to rebound with its economy system so it should fill up these empty skyscrapers within a decade or so.

Los Angeles, California is losing many companies by very high business tax and business-unfriendly environment. Many companies relocated to many cities like Seattle, Portland, Bend, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Scotdale, etc. Every year Los Angeles skyscrapers are getting empty and emptier.

Spokane, Washington got almost died downtown area with completely empty skyscrapers. About all companies left downtown Spokane to the suburbs. Right now, City of Spokane are trying to lure the companies to move back to city center.

Well not sure about it, but there is ghost town. Shouldn't we consider those ancient area such like the Pymarids in Eygpt as anaboned city? ;)

Well the more buildings, the more people don't drive. Tokyo is a example of this.
