Both looks really similar, have key qwerty, IMs (aol, msn and yahoo) SMS/MMS/EMS, emails. I need ur help, which better and what each one has missing? LG the V/9800 has EV-DO I don't know what it means, is EV-DO good?

Thanks!

EV-DO means high speed for certain things like internet, movies, music, etc. on the cell phone. T-Mobile uses EDGE, which is much slower than EV-DO in my experience, and is only considered "high speed" because it meets some minimum standard of "faster than dial up"

Everything depends on your coverage. You might be in an area where EDGE or EVDO coverage is lousy, so you won't get to benefit.

The LG V or 9800 aren't great phones, and neither is the Sidekick 3, in my opinion. The LG V at least has some video streaming. I do have my opinion on which other phones are better, but your question was what was EVDO and what was missing from the LG and the SK 3.

You can ask if you can have them for trail -- sometimes they have 15-days trail
period where you get the opportunity to test these devices and to see if it suits you or not. That way you will be able to determine which device benefit you the most.

Hmm...wow..it's been months since I last visited AD -- decided to check in today and saw I hadn't been here since April. I recently switched over from SK2 to LG vx9800 -- my SK2 was dying and I decided to look elsewhere and try something new. So far, I like the LG, but one problem is -- they don't have the right plans for deafies like the SK2 does from Tmobile. *shrugs*
I like the LG cos of the streaming videos, download/uploads are a bit faster than SK2 --graphics are very good.
