Sidekicks are OUT and Treo 600s are IN!

"NO" Personal backup, where did you see that?? Its not true. Its connect with the server to back up. If something went wrong with sidekick. It just simple transfer to other sidekick with no question!

FLIP-UP breaking down or up; I have that sidekick for year and half. Happy with it.

I am not interesting for camera to spy me while I go to restroom. I do not think so that not needed.

Memory external for sidekick or another? Why is that nesscay to be sound high above than the regular sidekick. I think 8MB is good enough because I personally upload between my outlook and sidekick for correct appointment.

Speaking about JAVA for sidekick or not. Java is not primary to me because sidekick soon reciving the ip-relay software. I do not know when however it is good step.

Teo thing that I went store couple of time. I like it a lot yes.. but not fix my hand because I have big bone. So I rather to have sidekick has glow keyboard light during the dark. However; it just s rumor that sidekick provide better and thinner. So.. beside.. PC WORLD and another magazine vote SIDEKICK. We will wait and see what this year will be. :smoking:

I am awared of backup thru serve. But, you cannot transfer all files to computer at once than rather e-mail all em.

I See how u both think that treo would be best, but some poeple perfer sidekick and i like my sidekick and i dont give a flying fuck abt other digital stuff, the main thing is I USE IT FOR WORK AND WHEN ON MY WAY HOME I CAN USE FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY!

i don t use my pager every waking minute, i have my grrl and this puter too for work too! So the mumbo jumbo abt treo and sk who ever wants that can get it for themselves they LIKE what they see want to spend thijer money its thier business not ours :)

Yes you can. if you go to the website in Tmobile, the files is in there under your account. on desktop interface.

Besides, sidekick will be java enabled soon, or is already java-enabled, since my friend recently got one and was able to go in a chatroom on aol, not AIM. I personally prefer sidekick which is good enough for me. Treo is too big to carry and i don't care if sidekick has flipup. As long as it has email and web browser and aim that I can use for TTY or emergencies IM from family who do have AIM or AOL, it's fine by me. I don't really care what "more" treo has. I own a sidekick, so therefore I am sticking with it and happy with it.. no need for me to go advanced on pagers, it is too silly to change one pager after another when there's a new one out and 'better'. As long as I have no problem with it, I'm sticking with it. :)

Then go get a treo.. if some people says they're happy with sidekick, quit talking negative and bad about it, they aren't gonna get a treo. If you like that one better, then go get it

Well, well.. Touched a nerve. I know people do not like finding out they got a bad product when they could have gotten an better one. That is very understandable about your ranting towards Illustrator's comments about Sidekicks and Treo 600s. :thumb:

No, its not. I got my backup files instantly on desktop interface on the tmobile website under my account, it was there instantly when there's new information like the address book or whatnot. I get files right away when the tmobile updates something. Same goes for my friends who is sidekick users. Sidekick now has catalog feature which is where you go to get things available to download into the sidekick, like calculator, games, etc into sidekick and it seemed fast to me to download it into sidekick.

What or where will you able to transfer to your computer without use internet? I think not.

In the first place, I thought it's neat to have sidekick. I test it. It's biggest disappointment. So, I don't like it.

Negative is good to learn lesson before you able to understand. without negative, everybody are idiot.

No, i don't I own a sidekick and there's nothing negative about it for me. FOR YOU, maybe, but not me :)
 
I am planing on getting my daughter a sidekick. she is only 13 1/2 so it should be ok for what she needs it for

ok about time im here! ill post my comment about treo tonight. but dont expect alot of pros and cons because i only got it a week ago and i havent looked throughly yet. i admit i havent start read the instruction book. but anyway one thing i can say... its a cool bean!

I saw that website from a friend who told me about it.. My hubby liked that but wanted more info about it, like the prices or when it would be available, etc.. he wanted more info abt it first.. what it has in that and all t hat.. I saw that the company 'Vulcan' made that, but never heard of that company before so we were unsure about that one.

Thanks for bring this information.. One day I would love to buy those.. Perfect for me suitable travelling and checking customers while Im at the shopping wha..ever in case I checking the pagers tiny puter.. Pretty awesome..
