Sid Caesar has Die :(

:( :( :(

He was really funny. And his writers were great. I remember one scene where his character was on his death bed and everyone was gathered around him. They were distraught that he was dying but then a guy comes in to see what everyone wants for lunch from the deli. And they start to order, and then start to argue about what to get, and it turns into this big fight. He sits up in bed and gets their attention "hey - Hey - HEYYY!!! - " (and they all get quiet, embarrassed, and they give him their attention) "we'll get a selection of cold cuts..." and goes on to tell them what to order.

Very sad he's gone. I think watching some of the PBS documentaries of him and his writers sitting around reminiscing was even funnier than the show itself.

I loved Sid Caesar , his show was one of the few shows my whole family enjoyed watching together . RIP Sid!

I did not see your thread and posted this too. OOPS!

I loved Sid Caesar show that was called "Show of Shows " no one came close to being as good as him.

Awwww...:(
Wasn't he the one who said "Make like a tree and leave?"
He was the last of the great ones and will be missed.

I know it isn't the end of the world. Just thought I'd let you know. Maybe a Mod will merge them.

RIP Sid.

I liked It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World movie.

Sid Ceasar was the last of the legends: talented, kind, and could do just about everything well. Having an enduring marriage of 60 years is just as remarkable, and in Hollywood no less. He'll be missed.

I am glad his shows where recorded on film , some of the old shows are gone forever . I am hoping public TV will air some of his shows in memory of Sid. We have lost a great comedian , and he did it all without insulting people.

I remembered his zany comedy back in the old days. He was so funny when he was using his body language to make us laugh. I don't have to understand what he was saying. I like his performance with Coco. They were both harlious.

May you as Sid Caesar walk into the journey to the Spirit World and make others laugh.

Rest In Peace. I am going to miss you very much. :(
