Show off your uptime status

12:48:58 up 16 days, 22:35, 1 user, load average: 0.08, 0.12, 0.14

Had to reboot with a kernel update iirc. It's a laptop so goes to sleep at night. I even have it syncing with my Windows mobile phone. ;)

That's pretty good uptime.

I have nothing to stress this thing out so that's why I have a long uptime. I mainly use it for internet. I don't do processor heavy tasks because it's slow and takes forever, may cause crashes. I think better chances it will be stable on a Intel Mac. :)

Whether or not electricity is "cheap", wasting electricity doesn't seem very "green."

I don't even know what you are talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bottesini, it just a uptime of how long mac/linux desktop/laptop have been stayed on without turning it off.

Ironically, up here environmentalists ENCOURAGE people not to shut down their computer unless the usage is less than two hours a day because apparently the boot-up uses more electricity than a computer left to idle for 8-10 hours, providing the monitor is off. So if you're not going to use it more than 24 hours... shut her down, otherwise if you're using it everyday-- don't bother.

After following their advices... my electrical bills actually went DOWN.

Weird, eh?

Yup, I usually put my PC in sleep everytime when I leaves.
