Do polls really matter? ;) :giggle:

any Texan ADers here to answer his question?

It is just silly post and it is illegal for Texas to secede, anyway.

No, not really, the results in secession will always end up in the war. So, no thanks, I don't want the war zone in my own home state as well as we don't have the militarily power against the United States with its world's mostest advanced technologies.

I'd rather to stay in my own house than outside with my Lee Enfield rifle to make it easy target from an UAV from 5 miles up in the sky.

Those insurgent UAV videos look crazy, they barely have time to react before they boom!

Should Texas?......yes. Will Texas? Probably not

Exactly. They just came out of nowhere! Even with AH-64 Apache, AC-130 Spectre or Spooky, F-22 Raptor and nuclear-powered aircraft carriers.

One Nimitz-class aircraft carrier can easily control the whole coast of Texas.

There are no reason to take up and fight against the United States for the secession from the Union unless that president is a dictator. :P

Sure there is. The U.S. is a major burden to Texas.

Texas would have instant allies as well. :)

Oh really? You know why the majority of Texans voted for its state to be annexed by the USA? They were BROKE!

USA is NOT a burden to Texas because Texas is PART of the USA. Every state has allocated its own money and the federal gives them money accordingly. History has shown over and over that states cannot do it without federal help.

 Like what Sam Houston said (unless Souggy get me wrong again like on Yamamoto), "Texas can survive without the United States, but the United States cannot survive without Texas!"

Who will be allies to Texas would be? Mexico? Texas and Mexico works together pretty well lately.

Texas is a HUGE state and loaded with pride. If they break off from Washington, sure there will be war. But it'll be an Soviet vs. Afghanistan by measure. It's too big to fight against and the Feds will lose the fight and eventually withdraw, leaving to drag their feet just as the Soviets did.

Plus many will sneak past the blockade and join Texas in the fight.

In fact, Ron Paul supports the measure, he's been on YouTube encouraging Texas to break off from the Feds for a year now, calling for a Sovereignty of Texas.

Yiz

LOL, USA vs. Texas is nothing compare to USSR vs. Afghan, they are very different.

It is just silly thread, hehe.

I sure will! Please have your uniform pressed, boots shined, magazines loaded, and firearms maintained...

Oh, is that what "The Sopranos State" means? Boy, he may not even be able to leave that state, never mind make it halfway down here, post-America.
