Is anyone on here born hearing then have sudden hearing loss in their 20s. How did it start and from what?
I'm trying to find out is it just going to get worse or will it stay the same. I noticed in the last month it's getting harder to hear one on one conversations and the tv. It's just a low noise for me.

My sisters are twins and were each born with 50% hearing. they have a hard time hearing whispers or low volumes. They dont wear hearing aids and while in school have to sit in front of the class to hear their teachers...as they get older will they lose all of their hearing?
I'm worried about losing all or will I just only be hard of hearing. I notice some days are better than others and sometimes I just don't pay attention to it.
Same... :/That happened to me. Born hearing and then in my mid 20s I started having problems - could not hear wispers, TV has hard to hear, things like that. I had all kinds of tests and they could not determine a reason. It just got progressively worse for me. Deaf in left ear now and my right ear is really bad. Hearing aid does not really work well for speech. Life changer for sure. Gotta stay positive. And go to a specialist and see if they can find a reason.
