I hate when a hearing person tries to whisper in my ear, as if that will work, lol.
And when you pull back to see what they're saying and they get offended. How many times does a person need to be told not to do that??? Ugh!
The little boy I watch gave me an attitude the other day. He was playing on the floor in the living room, I came over and asked, "do you want your banana cut up?" and he ignored me. I asked again. Ignored again. Instead of raising my voice again, I stomped the floor to get his attention and he snaps his head up and goes, "I SAID 'uh huh' already!" I was instantly pissed at his attitude, and I said to him, "And I SAID that I cannot hear you and you need to look at me when you're talking and stop mumbling at the floor, but you never listen to that, now do you?? I swear I tell him to speak up literally every 5 minutes...clearly my hearing isn't the issue. It's obviously a memory problem on his side!
