Screen Legend Paul Newman Dies at 83

He had a good long life ... rest in peace, Paul Newman.
 
He is one of my favorite actors. I have seen many of his movies especially with Robert Bedford several times and Elizabeth Taylor. I love his movies.

I know from read the magazine that he suffer cancer for long months and accept the fact that his life will end some day but it´s good thing that he survived his 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary with his second wife Jooane Woodward.

Paul Newman and his wife Jooane are one of rare people who stay married for over 50 years.


Rest In Peace and you will be missed, Paul Newman... :(

Yes, he was a good father to his 5 children but his son died drugdose in 70s. :(

yeah i agree! but his son dies from overdose in 1978 and his son killed from that!
 
Paul Newman was a true Legend for his time. I loved his movies esp Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid. He sure knew how to be true to his roots and help other people in need unlike those celebrities who let fame get away from them. RIP Paul. Hope u can beat many other car-racing legends at the 24 hour Race in Heaven Race Track! (That is with Paul driving his 1979 Bob Sharp Datsun 280ZX Turbo and Dale Earnhardt driving a 2001 NASCAR Monte Carlo up there)

Wow, I did not know he died from cancer. I have not read much about him in the magazine or newspaper that much, because we spend a lot of time on the island. We get our own local newspaper about our Islanders here. Sure, I watch the news sometime, but not a lot, lately. Paul Newman is one of my favorite actor and so is Joanne Woodward. He is extremely a good actor and he loves to drive his NASCAR car for racing. He has done a lot of charity work, too. The only amazing thing is that they are not affected by the fame to remain married for 50 years of their marriage. That is incredible. Most celebrities don't stay in the relationship whether they live together or married for long. Their marriage is unique. I am in awe of them. Rest in peace, Paul Newman. Boy, Paul really need the rest and not have to suffer cancer anymore. :(
 
Paul Newman was an incredible actor for longer than I've been alive, and he will be greatly missed.
