The Hole in the Wall Gang camp that supported children with cancer was one of his most important projects.

Sad news. I interested to watch lots of his movies in many years. he was great actor.

I don't know him in movies at all or his background, sorry. I grew up being an outdoor kid, I didn't really watch too much TV when growing up. RIP Paul Newman! :(

Oh my gosh, I did not know. I used to love watch his old movies when I was younger. I did not realize he was older than my mother. RIP.

Yeah...he was a great guy! :aw: May he RIP!

He and his wife used to go all over the town (Westport, CT, five minutes away where I live) as the quiet and humble couple. They were very nice and quiet. The people in the town didn't rush up to them or crowded them, none at all because we respected their privacy and let them go about the town. Their home is sooo gorgeous! Back in April, our old car died in the cemetery (long story) which was two blocks from his home.

My hubby worked for his brother's landscape company. My hubby who was the supervisor and the workers used to work on his property. No, he didn't see him nor his wife because they weren't home and often away. He said it was very nice property. That was years ago.

Hope his wife and children are holding up well.
