I can't imagine how much bandwidth we're wasting doing this. :giggle:

Find me a picture of Daryl Palumbo performing.

Damn—I’ve seen the very first TTY, and I had a camera with me at the time. I could have posted the pic and said "here’s the first TTY, and I took the pic".

This isn’t the very first TTY, but it’s a pretty old one. The first TTY was about ten feet away from me when I took this picture.

Found the picture, it's the oldest TTY machine. The guy standing next to it is Federal Communications Commission Attorney Andy Firth. Don't know if it's really the "very first" TTY.

Now, find me a picture of a beautiful woman in a long dress, pushing the lawn mower (hint: Deseprate Housewives).

Yes, this is one of "First TTY" DAMN I can't remember the model for this old western union. Only model that have paper that moves from left to right instead of the type head. I bet one of my old friend still have that machine.

Actually Robert Weitbrecht a deaf physicist invented a coupler that connects to that old western union teletype machine. That was back in 1963, just two years before I was born. He died when walking with dog and a vehicle hit him.
