Is anyone in that situation ever completely content? What can one realistically expect from a rope-line moment?
Just more of the McCain/Palin campaign not giving any real answers. They are more than willing to make statements such as "Parents of special needs children, you will have a friend and an advocate in the White House" but unable to give any specifics of just exactly what that advocacy would entail. She doesn't know what the problems are, and therefore doesn't have a clue as to what is needed to solve them.

I don't think it matters. You don't have to dislike someone to have no clue what's going on. Despite giving birth to a Down's Syndrome child, I honestly don't think she has a clue what our needs are; let alone how to fix them. I'm speaking of anyone with special needs. This is all inclusive to include everyone with special needs.
Sarah Palin just doesn't get it.
