Saggy Pants Law

What's wrong with the baggy pants? I don't wear it all the times, but I have some of baggy pants, also almost all of my PJ are loose, at the large or up while my pant size was only like 30x32.

How would you feel if we say that the professional clothes are too offense, it makes people look snob, we should ban them.

Of course, everyone have right to wear whatever they want. Clothes is Clothes.

Most Hispanic and Black people were influenced by hard rock/sex music from a TV cable and radio-music stations. I don't know about Alex. I guess that he loves hard rock music.

I mean that some young kids saw singers wear a baggy pant so they think that it is cool for sexy. When they get older, they still wear it because they forgot themselves that they are adults. This thing that I never understand their behavior. I born and lived in a very nice town that I never saw anyone wear a baggy pant, and even in my high school. It just makes me sick that they are virtual singers and being rich. American young kids are failing to educate themselves. i.e. They never know how to cook themselves, and they don't know how to use a washing/dryer machine. When I was in the college, I was shocked to see them like that.

No, it's hip hop, not hard rock.

Yup, I agree.

I don't look like bad man when wear saggy pant, that's my business!!!

That's ridiculous. The kids should know better. If not, then they are dope. That's all.

I dont understand what the NAACP is in knots about? Ive seen plenty of white guys trying to look the part of a thug by wearing their pants around their knee caps. This law is clearly not discriminatory. Guys and girls do it, blacks, whites, and latinos do it. This just says - anyone who is wearing their pants so low that you can see underwear gets reprimanded. Honestly I find it embarrassing when you can see one's underwear bulging out of their pants in public. Ass crack is just downright disgusting![/QUOTE]

:bowlol:

What happened to modesty??

I agree that pants worn like they are saying shouldn't be worn because of the origins it came from. prisoners wear their pants like this to advertise themselves as wanting sex, then when they got out they still living prison life and keep their pants half down and that is just bad. the celebrities who started this trend were known convicts that were getting glory singing or rapping or whatever about being ugly criminal people. That kind of publicity should not happen. pull your damn pants up and act respectable. baggy pants is fine, loose fitting pants are fine but when your basically hopping around with your pants around your ankles asking to be somebodies bitch you need to be treated like one and be impaled somehow for their pleasure in public for people to make fun of them for being stupid. maybe they should just pick out a big stick of some kind and stick it up their butts and says "unplug for a good time" written on it in big letters with streamers hanging off the end.

No thanks but respect is ok.

You doesn't expect that some people with saggy pant are bad or not, even you won't know about me, If I use like that then it doesn't make me looks like thug or bad person, even hard rock, punk and metal are using like that and some preppy are so too. Not only saggy pant is limited to hip hop style, it has been passes on other culture as well and prison are trends to be worse than normal people who wear like that.

I am bad... every time i see some guys with saggy low pants..I want to pull pants down to have them embarassed in public

Maybe, because appliances and packaged foods come with directions, pants and shirts some, too? Here's a line that'll need to be included: "Do not wash the pants in the washing machine while wearing." How about having someone like Mr. Rogers putting on his pants while singing a cute jingle? (I'd love to see a six-year old singing and teaching a 26-year old that jingle!)

In all honesty, I've watched people walking down the streets while wearing "saggy pants." They're, constantly, fussing over their pants, pulling and adjusting it nearly every few steps. It looks very uncomfortable and seems to be a huge waste of time and effort.

Don't get me wrong: I am very indifferent to "fashion statements" of the day and their wearers don't bother me. My impression of them might be unfavorable (I'd rather invest in clothing that are "timeless" in that they don't go out of fashion for a long time. It seems that fashion changes yearly.) In short, I'd think the person an immature fool. It's not illegal to be one nor is it illegal to believe another to be.

Now, if they could come out with a law banning fat wo/men wearing spandex, I'd be the first to host a pep rally!

Yes, that's right. It doesn't mean that they are bad when they choose their fashion taste.

My both teenage sons do have some saggy pant that's because they like their taste...

My son asked me where is pant? I asked: "Do you mean  pant"? (My son know I alway call it as "crazy" pant :giggle:). He said in humor way: Yes, that's what I am looking for. I told him that his pant is in sewing room for iron...

To be honest, I think it's pretty pathetic that the government is being relied on to make this so-called law. The school districts should be responsible to enforce such a policy without having to be required by the law to do so. All schools should have a dress code, most schools enforced them back then. I guess they are all now wussies and afraid of giving their students detention!

Yes I second that.

It shouldn't be up to the school districts.

It should be up to the parents that allow their children to dress this way.

Respectfully disagree.

We will follow if school policy say what our children/teenager should wear or not. It teachs children/teenager to know what respect is about.

I as parent would not force my child to wear what I want when he/she don't like that taste. I support my boys' taste with limit what they like to wear because their happiness is mainly matter to me.

*nods agree* It's not up to parents, but the children. My parents never give me any rule about how I dress, except their opinion about how I dress.

I would use my common sense to determine whether what they were wearing was a good or bad fashion statement.

If they wanted to rip up every one of their clothes, wear chains all over, and wear "I LOVE SATAN!" T-shirts... I'd say, "No."

If they wanted to wear baggy jeans (as long as they don't walk like they are gun-carrying ghetto gangsters with their pants down so low that their boxers/under show), then I'd be fine with it. :)

Well actually I don't mind if my children wear dirty, ripped, poor clothes, chains or even punk, gothic, or whatever as long as they are taking care of themselves properly. :)

People wearing their pants like that makes them look really stupid.

Well what would you think if I say the color hair dye should be ban because I think they look stupid?

You can't compare wearing saggy pants with hair dye. With the saggy pants, everyone can see your underwear or even your ass crack. That is inappropriate and looks very stupid. With hair dye, it's just a bright color.
